This song is a surrealist parody of Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V and VI-IX off their 1975 studio album Wish You Were Here. Originally meant to kickstart an otherwise completely different sounding original called She Smells Like Christmas Time, I had improvised an atypical melody I found impossible to turn around and laid down some riffs that were very nearly Shine On in style. I decided to make the piece a holiday parody of Pink Floyd's legendary composition.
